Instructions for a baby or reborn doll’s dress set with a cabled pattern, textured bodice, and sleeves. There is a bonnet and Mary Jane style shoes to match. I have knitted the outfit shown in Sirdar Snuggly DK. When knitted this set will fit a 21-22 inch reborn, 19-20 inch reborn, 17-18 inch reborn or a 15-16” reborn, or babies 3lb through to 3 months.

You will need:

15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 5lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 6 buttons, 1.5 x m ribbon, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 6lb Prem) Size

150g 4ply yarn, 3 buttons, 1.5 m ribbon, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” pr 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 8lb Newborn) Size

150g 4ply yarn, 3 buttons, 2 x m ribbon, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles or dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 10lb Newborn) Size

200g dk yar, 6 buttons, 2 x m ribbon, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 32 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (0-3 Months) Size

200g dk yarn, 6 buttons, 2 x m ribbon, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

This pattern has been designed by myself so it is in UK terminology. It does not follow the usual ‘shop bought’ format. There are 8 printed pages with clear and easy to follow instructions. All my patterns are tested by independent knitters before they are released, so every effort is made so that they come to you error free.
