This is from the booklet 70 with the Polar Bear on the cover, now out of print but several patterns are available in digital format, including 7913. All of the designs are by Mette N. Handberg.

• Shown in two versions. This entry is for the cardigan.
• Sizes range from 44 inches (112cm) to 50.25 inches (127.5cm) finished chest measurement. A schematic provides other measurements.
• The sweater is knit in the round and steeked. Drop shoulder armholes are also cut. You will need double pointed needles and short and long circulars in all sizes or as needed to get gauge. Note that you may wish to use one size larger needle for the stranded colorwork portion than for the extended solid color area.
• Four colors are needed: 8-11 balls of the main color; 3-5 balls of the first contrast color; 1-2 of the second and 2-3 each of two additional colors. You will also need 8 or 9 buttons.
