The 80s was a totally awesome decade to grow up in, and The Decade Series: The 80s captures a few of the iconic designs and technology that surrounded us everywhere.

80s Radical Sun encompasses the neon artwork that was super popular back then, as well as one of the words we used way too much. Though we eventually shortened it to “rad,” there were quite a few years that we used radical as a way to express what was so awesome!

The pattern is worked in the mosaic overlay technique, and includes not only a design chart to work from, but also the written line-by line directions to help you create the panel.

Though I used a 3.5mm hook with ILTY and Caron yarns to create a 21” x 15” panel, any sized hook and any type yarn can be used.
