This sweater vest is knit in 4 sections, the lower waist, the ride side neckline, the left side neckline, and the back. The lower waist section is knit in the round with a 2x2 ribbed waistband. The right side neckline is shaped using right side and wrong side rows and decreases at the armhole and neckline. The left side neckline is worked the same. The back is then shaped by decreasing at each armhole with center back neck shaping around the neckline. Simultaneously, there are alternating cables being worked every 14 rounds/rows.
