Also uses 3 x 4mm wood effect buttons and shirring elastic.

Easy to knit on 3mm straight needles with Cygnet DK yarn. An ambitious beginner could make this with some practice on the bramble stitch on the hat. The rest is knit and purl with simple increasing and decreasing. An experienced knitter could knit this in a 2 or 3 evenings.

The Cygnet yarn is inexpensive and comes in 100g balls which would knit up lots of outfits in different colourways.
