This is one of those open-ended patterns that let you play with yarn types and needle sizes. You can use worsted weight, or sock weight, or bulky on large or small needles. It can be a great stash buster project for all those left over skeins and oddballs. Small yarn on large needles makes it lacy, Worsted weight on US 8 (5.0) makes it cozy. Bulky yarn on a large needle makes it warm.
