I was looking to bust some of my stash and work up quick pieces for an upcoming handicraft sale my friend is having. Being engrossed in watching West Wing reruns, I decided to play around with using two strands of yarn to crochet together. This scarf is the result of some experimentation.

I am sure there are a gazillion patterns along similar lines out there, but I felt this was a pretty outcome and should be shared regardless. The height of the cowl allows this cowl to be used as a hood if required. If folded in half, it is a chunkier cowl.

And the best thing is that i finished making it within watching two episodes!! I hope you have fun making this too…
