Yardage above is for Lerke and equals 9 (10, 11, 12, 13) balls.

Svale is an alternative and requires 10, (11, 12, 13, 14) balls.

Lacey cardigan with V-neck and set in sleeves. Finished bust measurement from 32.75 inches to 41 inches.

Body is knit in one piece. Sleeves are worked in the round.

Svale version: requires 1000 meters (1094 yards) metallic thread carried along with the yarn and uses three buttons. Lerke version fastens with a crocheted cord and a single button and has an option to sew matching crystal beads along the front edges.

Long and short circular needles and double pointed needles in the sizes needed to get gauge are recommended. Crochet hook is used only to pick up stitches and to make the optional corded closure.
