Materials:

• standard-gauge knitting machine (4.5mm needle pitch)
• 170g (637.5 m) fingering weight yarn, color A
• 70g (262.5 m) fingering weight yarn, color B

If you wanted to do this on two needles instead of with a knitting machine, you just need to use whatever needle size necessary to attain gauge.
