98. No Cable Cricket Set
Instructions for a really cute cricket set for a baby boy. There are no cables to be worked in this set. The set comprises of a V neck sweater, wide-brimmed hat, slip on plimsoles and trousers with knitted in shin pads.
You will need:
15-16” or 37.5-40cm Height (Approx 2.5-4lb Prem) Size
200g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 20g in colour C, 2m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x stitch marker,1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
16-17” or 40-42.5cm Height (Approx 3-5lb Prem) Size
200g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 20g in colour C, 2m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x stitch marker,1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size
200g 4ply yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 20g in colour C, 2m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x stitch marker,1x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
20-21” or 50-52.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size
250g dk yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 20g in colour C, 2m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x stitch marker, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
22” or 55cm Height (0-3 Months) Size
250g dk yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 20g in colour C, 2m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x stitch marker, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
24” + or 61cm Height (3-6 Months) Size
300g dk yarn in colour A, 20g in colour B, 20g in colour C, 2m x ribbon, 1 stitch holder, 1 x stitch marker, 1 x pr 4.5mm needles making a tension of 20sts and 27 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
This pattern has been designed by myself so it is in UK terminology. It does not follow the usual ‘shop bought’ format. There are 7 printed pages with clear and easy to follow instructions. All my patterns are tested by independent knitters before they are released, so every effort is made so that they come to you error free.
