A Beary Comfy Sweater
by Janice Helge
Quick and easy! This top-down sweater is an easy way to use up a couple ounces of leftover yarn.
The pink sweater is being worn by a 17/18” Build-A-Bear who has a 14.25” chest.
The yellow sweater was knit on size 6 needles and is just a tiny bit smaller than the pink sweater. Gauge for this sweater is 5 sts = 1”. It’s being worn by a 17” Boyd’s Bear with a 12” chest and a 19” Berenguer baby doll with a 14.5” chest. The baby doll is also wearing a 0-3 month size sleeper - just to give you an idea of her size.
The January 2013 update is the addition of a pattern for an easy-to-knit skirt. The skirt is knit in the round on size 6 needles.
