A Bevy of Bunnies
This Bevy of Bunnies was created to resemble my own rabbits that run in my yard. I often watch them lay down under my apple tree and rest after fulling their tummies. They use their front paws as a pillow as they relax with their head nestled in place. Their ears are upright and alert for any dangers as they snooze.
Both the solid white bunny and the spotted one are worked in Patons Astra. The fuzzy brown one is worked in Bee Hive Cloud 9 (King Cole Moments or Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake would work just as well). I have included the line by line pattern for each of the bunnies (solid color and spotted) and included photos to make assembly easier.
Each bunny takes less than one 50g ball of yarn and is about 8” long and 5: wide at the hip. If you decide to use a worsted yarn instead of DK they will come out a bit larger (or smaller if you use a lighter weight yarn) but there is no reason the design can not be done in any weight yarn you choose.
An easy and quick pattern, this is the perfect Easter bunny for the grandchildren. And, there is plenty of time to get a bevy of them knit before the festivities. Happy Knitting Everyone. xo wendy
