This project will use 3 skeins of each 3 colors. This is a very easy knit for beginners as well as a quick knit for a TV project. It uses a combination of knit and purl stitches to make a rib effect for a border. I would suggest using a circular needle for ease, but not required if you have long straight needles. You can easily adjust the size of the blanket by casting on more or less stitches or using a different weight of yarn. The pattern is easy to memorize so you don’t need to keep track of which row you are on.
