Skill Level – Adventurous Beginner

You will need to be comfortable making foundation single crochet and extended double crochet.

This really is as close as it gets to wearing a blanket – invaluable for chilly morning chores and evenings on the sofa. The oversize sleeves mean it can be thrown on as an extra layer over just about anything. Not, perhaps, the most elegant of cardigans but one you will reach for again and again!

Construction is simple with no sewing other than to weave in ends. Back and front yoke/sleeves are worked off both sides of a foundation single crochet row from sleeve edge to sleeve edge across the back of the neck, the back and front of the sleeves are joined at the underarm and the remaining stitches are connected to form the main body panel, which can be made any length you want.
