Do you love cats? Then, this hat is for you or your kids! With its little paws beyond the brim, pointed ears, very round eyes and whiskers, this sitting cat may be wrapped with a tail (optional) for more fun!

The hat is knit from bottom up in 2 colors with a DK weight yarn. Head, in the lightest color and in reverse stockinette contrasts with the striped background; ears are based on embossed bell stitch pattern. To complete hat, sew 2 buttons for eyes, embroider whiskers and paws, and knit a tail to be stuffed as you go then attach it to the hat - the tail is optional.
