A Classed-Up Coaster
There’s not a whole lot to say about this. It’s a coaster. Coasters are kind of boring. No one wants to lay a few squares around in their living room, but you do it anyways. Because you don’t trust the finish on that IKEA coffee table to resist a stain. I get it, I don’t trust it either. Coasters are a necessary evil. But THESE coasters are pretty cool. And pretty classy.
Yarn: MC - 35 yd (32 m) fingering; CC - 8 yd (7.4 m) fingering;
Needles: 2.5 mm (1.5 US) circular needles (long enough for magic loop)
Gauge : 31 sts x 44 rows - 4” x 4” 10 cm x 10 cm
Notions: stitch marker (optional), tapestry needle
Techniques: magic loop, Judy’s magic cast on, kitchener stitch, stranded colorwork
