Only have one skein of yarn? Its a close call that this “Close Cowl” can work with almost any yarn. From 60 yards of a bulky yarn to 220 yards in fingering weight this pattern is perfect for many different yarns. Since the knitting is all done on the Wrong Side, you will want to turn your cowl inside out when finished, so that the side with the single rows of knit stitches is on the outside. Much easier to knit more stitches than purl more. However, if your favorite stitch is the purl stich then you are welcome to knit it right side out. Lots of fun with a very simple pattern.
This pattern is perfect for all!
