RIBBED PONCHO
The crossover construction of this ponchette creates a striking look without fussiness. The boldly textured stitch pattern and folded-over turtleneck collar add to the drama.
WHAT YOU NEED
Yarn
Burly Spun by Brown Sheep Company, 8oz/226g hanks, each approx 132yd/121m (wool) YARN WT = 6
• 3 (4) hanks in #BS-115 oatmeal
GAUGE
12 sts and 19 rows to 4”/10cm over slip st rib using size 13 (9mm) circular needle.
Take time to check gauge.
NOTE
Poncho is made of one 14” x 42” (16” x 48)“/35.5cm x 106.5cm (40.5cm x 122cm) strip which is sewn to itself leaving a neck opening (see schematic).
