This shawl was initially designed for the 2014 Miss Babs Armchair Traveling Knitting Tour (for their trip to Argentina), and it was released to Ravelry on June 2015.

A day in Buenos Aires is a light breath of fresh air to push away the old routine and dark days.
With its bright light and cheerful life, the city in which I am blessed to live gives me courage to create the most inspired knits. But also, Buenos Aires can be so exciting that you get carried away and want to engage in its ever bustling activity.
You would need a fast and easy project for such days, something that can keep you company but doesn’t distract you from everything you want to see, hear and taste…
This shawl has been my companion for those moments when the city just stole my attention. The colors I chose reflect the time of the year, when we have turquoise skies, and the blossoms of Jacarandas cover every free spot on the streets.
When you finish it, come dance a Tango with me wearing in this curly girly shawl. We’ll have a blast.

Finished Measurements:
72 inches; 180 cm from side to side and 16½ (41 cm) from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).

Materials:
Yarn:
Isadora by Miss Babs (70% Merino/30% Silk): 800 yards. Note: The regular put up for this yarn is 600 yards per skein, but the members of the World Tour will receive a skein with a special put up of 800 yards.
Shown in colorways: Abrazo (Turquoise) and Enrosque (variegated Lilac).
US 6 (4mm) knitting needles.

Gauge:
16 st and 34 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) in garter st after blocking and stretching the fabric (unblocked: 22 st and 44 rows).
Gauge is not crucial for this project. However, changes might result in a different yardage requirement.
