- When made as is, it can fit in small places.
- If you need help, my email address is on the bottom of each pattern page.
This pattern is very special to me. It is the 2nd pattern I have made for a doily since my husband started his journey through cancer surgery and recovery. We are now 1 month and 17 days from the actual surgery. So far, so good.
Our lives have changed completely. Our lives now revolve on testing blood sugar, eating a diet low in fat until the pancreas heals itself and taking additional meds and shots. However, we both keep in mind that he has one of the few cancers that are considered cured when surgery can be performed.
Now, about this doily itself.
- It was made with Alize Miss Batik thread. However, it can be made with any crochet thread #10 to achieve a similar size. It can also be made from any size thread or yarn you prefer, using an appropriate hook.
- After starching (I prefer liquid but you can use spray starch) and blocking it dried to 9” in diameter.
- If you are not a fan of the picot stitch, they can be left off and the design will not be ruined.
PLEASE REMEMBER… This listing is for a CROCHET PATTERN.. . not the finished item.
