A Family Portrait - Three Christmas Stockings
The original stockings were made for my son and his wife, who are expecting their first child, my first grandchild. I wanted to make something that would truly commemorate the blessed event, as well as to embark on a few family tradition. I decided to make a Christmas Stocking for each of the “new” family members. A stocking is timeless and everlasting. I now pass this tradition on to other “new” families.
This pattern is for all three Stockings in the series - Dad, Mom and Baby. They are also available individually.
The Christmas Stockings are worked from the toe-up, in a true proportionate sock form. None of that stubby foot-things here! Pattern includes twenty-nine pages of instructions/charts, a charted alphabet for you to add any name that you desire, and notes on how to “tweak” the pattern to make it into a pair of socks.
Yardage given is for one. You will need one skein of each color for each of the stockings.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding and words of encouragment over the past few months, the patterns are now available.
