A Floral Embrace is a semi-circular shawl designed as a light covering on cool Summer evenings. It is knitted top down and was inspired by some beautiful yarn from Nurturing Fibres that reminded me of the fields of daisies one sees on the West Coast of South Africa. The yarn used for this shawl is Nurturing Fibres Too Soft for Socks, a soft single ply merino wool. It is a simple stockinette shawl with little butterflies scattered throughout the top section. As you work down the shawl there are yarn over sections which make this shawl light and airy.

Shawl size (approx): 142cm x 55cm (56” x 22”)

Difficulty: This is a simple shawl but does requires some knitting knowledge….adventurous beginner
