Let’s crochet the alphabet! Starting with A for Alligator!

My alligator is named Alvin - so meet Alvin the Alligator!
Alvin is a cheerful little fellow, always sporting a toothy grin and eager for new adventures. Despite his fearsome looks, he’s a gentle soul who loves cozy tea parties and making friends in his yarn-crafted world. His curiosity and joyful spirit make every day a delightful exploration!

Now for the important stuff! This Alligator pattern is made out of multiple pieces crocheted in the round and then sewn together. There is a written assembly-guide to help get the sewing portion just right.

You will receive two PDF patterns: one with photos and colors, and another in black and white to make it more printer-friendly!

Basic crochet stitches are needed, such as sc, inc, dec, ss (slipstitch), magic ring, hdc, any stitches above basic level will have a YouTube tutorial linked.

Amigurumi can be made with any type of yarn of your liking. My alligators are made with Friends Cotton 8/4 from Hobbii and a 2,5 mm hook. These turn out to be about 9 cm tall, or just under 4 inches.

I hope you enjoy the pattern and your new alligator friend(s)! Be sure to look out for the pattern for the rest of the alphabet ;) Happy crocheting!
