I created A Frosty Morning for myself. I wanted a Christmas blanket that I could leave out after Christmas into the winter months.

A Frosty Morning is a picture blanket. It is 184 stitches by 226 rows. The blanket can be done in two colours (traditional mosaic) or different colours can be used (tapestry mosaic). The pictures show both versions.

This blanket is not yarn specific. To do this blanket with full colour, you will need:

• Main Colour (Colour A): A Pound of Love in White, approx.: 2000 yards (1830 metres)
• Pattern Colour (Colour B): A Pound of Love in Olive, approx. 1400 yards (1300 metres)
• Pattern Colour (Colour B): A Pound of Love in Straw, approx. 500 yards (460 metres)
• Small amount of red on the tree beside the church and black for the hockey pucks.
