This is a pattern for a bead crochet lariat that contains 7 different patterns (loading sequences) within the pattern. The lariat is 58 inches long, but there are tips for changing the length, so that you can alter the lariat to fit your specific wants. This sampler is made using the slip stitch method of bead crochet, and is crocheted 8-around. It is designed using beads that vary from size Delica Beads to size #8 Japanese seed beads, and also contains size #11 seed beads and #9 three cuts. (You could easily substitute size #11 seed beads for where I used the #9 three cuts, should you choose to.)

The colors used are enhanced by the black and white primary colors. The lariat is designed so that it will knot easily (in spite of the dimensionality), and once on, you can forget about it, except for all the compliments you get when wearing it.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of the slip stitch method of bead crochet.)
