This triangular shawl can be made in any size with any yarn. But it is specially designed for variegated yarn with a short repeat. I named it “A Gentle Diversion” because it looks soft and inviting, is relaxing and pleasant to knit, and designing it diverted me from other tasks for a whole day.

My finished and blocked sample used one skein and measured 140 cm x 68 cm (55” x 27”).
