First, I’d like to say that I am so very grateful for the opportunity to design and write crochet patterns, and for all of the crocheters out there who purchase my patterns and enjoy them. I’m so grateful for this amazing opportunity and to interact with all of you. I work in my little creative corner in my house and my work reaches crocheters all over the world via Ravelry.

A Grateful Heart is crocheted flat in straight rows that include the ribbing, the stitch pattern that looks like waves, and also several stitches on one end that are used to gather up the crown. The invisible seam is easy and instructions are included.

I made a pompom for my hat, but you can also purchase a trendy faux fur pompom if you’d like.

I used one skein of the super soft Manos Del Uruguay Maxima worsted weight, hand-dyed single-ply yarn (219 yards/skein) in the color “Reindeer”.

Crocheted in several hours, this cute, trendy hat is perfect for gifting!
