This is a great hat to try if you have never tried colorwork before! The pattern is easy to remember so you won’t have to look back and forth between your work and the chart as often. There are never more than 5 sts in between the color changes, so I didn’t have to catch my floats, which was a bonus! This hat fits looser than a beanie but is not falling off the head when worn. Avoid blocking this hat aggressively, or it will stretch out and not fit correctly. I wet the hat, flattened it, shaped it to open up the pattern, and let it dry without pinning.
