A Jiffy-Knit Blouse
Here is a simple knitting pattern likely to please those of impatient temperament who prefer their work to grow quickly. It is of a new “jiffy-knit” blouse suitable for wear under winter costumes, or with tweed skirts.
Materials: 11 oz. 4-ply wool or knitting worsted (for sizes 30 in. to 34 in. bust); 12oz. (for sizes 36 in. and 38 in). 1 pair 14 in. celluloid knitting needles, No. 1 standard size, and 1 pair No. 6, standard size; 2 clips, 4 snap fasteners.
Substitute yarns: use any yarn that will work up 3 sts to the inch on No. 1 needles.
