A Jumper for Sports Wear
This pattern is
available for free.
Epaulette shoulders are the feature of this unusual jumper for sportswear. These shoulders are so designed that they not only give added warmth at the shoulder line, but also strike an unusual fashion note. Almost any combination of colours would be suitable for this jumper, but oatmeal for the main ground, with brown for scarf-neck and brown buttons, is suggested. Other colour combinations could be powder-blue and navy, primrose-yellow and brown, or two shades of green.
MATERIALS: 14oz of 4-ply wool; No. 9, No.12 needles; 8 buttons; some dark Angora wool to make the bow and the neckband; a crochet hook, medium size.
