A Jumper That is Simple Yet Smart

HERE are instructions for knitting a lady’s jumper with a diagonal rib. With a collar in white Angora, this jumper has the smartness that often goes with simplicity.
Materials: 7 ozs. Paton’s Super Scotch fingering wool, 3 ply “Mist” shades, and 1 (½ oz.) skein “Beryl” finespun angora white. Two No. 9 and two No. 11 “Beehive” knitting needles (Old UK).
Measurements: Length, 18 inches; bust, 34 inches; sleeve seam, 18 inches.
Work at a tension to produce 13 stitches to 2 inches in width.
