A Jumper With A Pleated Bib
Easy-to-knit openwork stripes add surface interest.
A very “young” jumper, this! Knit it in two shades of the same colour — brown and beige, or elephant and a much lighter grey, or the exceedingly attractive dark and light blue-green of the original.
MATERIALS:
Of Beehive (or Paton’s Super) Scotch Fingering 2-ply, 5 ozs. in blue-green, No. 2209, 1 oz. in light blue-green, No. 2184.
A pair of No. 12 (vintage), a pair of No. 10 (vintage) needles.
Two small buttons.
MEASUREMENTS: Bust 34 inches; length 19 inches; sleeve seam, 18 inches.
TENSION: 8 stitches to an inch.
