A Knitted Bedroom Slipper
This pattern is
available for free.
This is such an easy slipper pattern and yet when it is made up its appearance is delightful. It does not have a leather sole, the whole slipper being of knitting, therefore it will only be useful in the bedroom. A pair of them is nice and warm to slip on these cold mornings while dressing, and to make the two you need 6oz. of thick sports wool—a dark shade is most serviceable, although the slippers can be washed with very little trouble—and two No. 9 bone knitting needles, a thick bone crochet hook, 2 yards of ribbon in some contrasting shade to the wool you have chosen, and 1½ yards of elastic.
