You know those fascinators the British royals have made amazingly popular these days? This is not one of those. This is it yarn-y cousin. The knitted (and crocheted) fascinators may not be as well known or as fashionable but I promise you, they are much warmer.

Here is a head scarf / wrap done in a classic leaf lace. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions. The one shown here is made in sportweight wool and came out to be 77 inches by 11 inches. It can be easily adapted to nearly any weight yarn and made wider or thinner.
