A Light Cardigan for the Tennis Player
by Evette
This pattern is
available for free.
You will find this light hip-length coat very fascinating to make, and quite easy, too. It is ideal for tennis, golf, or hiking, and one which you will be proud of as an attractive piece of handiwork.
Any kind of wool can be used, of course, but there are pretty silk and wool, or fluffy wool mixtures which are ideal for this sort of thing, making the garment a little out of the ordinary.
Materials Required.
17oz. wool in the desired color, either plain or two-strand;
1 pair No. 8 stratnoil knitting needles;
3 medium-sized buttons to tone or contrast as you wish;
Leather belt to match buttons.
