A Light-Weight Jumper for Spring
Materials: 5 x 1oz balls of 2-ply wool, 2 balls of angora in contrasting shade for trimmings, two steel crochet hooks, sizes No. 3 and 4, and a pair of celluloid knitting needles, size No. 9.
Tension: Work at a tension to produce 7 knitted stitches to one inch; 9 rows of knitting to one inch; 7 crocheted stitches to one inch and 11 rows of crochet to two inches.
Note: Combined knit and crochet pattern.
This neat little blouse, made of fine wool, would be ideal for early spring when winter woollens are being put away, but there is still a nip in the air. Crochet and knitting are cleverly combined in it, and touches of angora give a softening effect.
