It was the first amigurumi crochet pattern I created. This pattern is so easy, that it can be your first crochet toy.
I made my Lion of cotton thread, but acrylic yarn is fit as well. For Lionet hair I used remains of bulky mohair yarn .

For the work you need:
cotton thread or acrylic yarn - 30g (yellow and white)
bulky wool or mohair yarn (brown or sand color) - a little bit
plastic eyes of diameter ~ 5 mm
plastic nose

Hooks: 1.5 mm for cotton/acrylic yarn and yet one for your hair yarn
