This pattern was written to feature the 5th colorway of the Brenda and Heather Sock Club: Meadow Sock. We have the yarn available on our website:

This pattern uses short rows to create a small section where you knit on the bias, creating a diagonal on the leg. It is used to slant the rainbow in the sky in this featured colorway, but would create an interesting effect with our other self-striping yarns.
