A little bit of glitz…
This shawl is certainly not over the top, in fact I would call it understated elegance.
It is easy to wear and this crescent shape grows pretty quickly. As the name suggests, there is a bit of shimmer in the yarn. A brightly shining silvery metallic is included in the all new Glitzy skeins just created for this project in three color combinations.
The pattern is entirely written and offers a “how to video link” for the two color I-cord bind off, framing the bottom edge.
The blocked size as shown: 70” along the bottom border and 14” in middle height.
Yarns used here
Color 1- A skein of Glitzy. 255 yards comprised of 8 changes in yarn, colors and textures including a bit of sheen, hence the name. Each skein holds an organic cotton, linen, rayon, a metallic twist and viscose in lace, fingering, sport and DK weights.
Color 2- A skein of Organic cotton, 125 yards in a DK weight.

Notions needed
US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle 40” (102 cm) in length.
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch with color 1 yarn in a DK weight yarn.
Techniques applied:
Knitting and purling, color changes, a little bit of stranded knitting, increasing, I- cord bind off, weaving in ends and blocking for best results.
