A Little of This a Little of That Shawlette
I’ve updated this pattern May 15th 2014. I fixed several small errors and reformatted for easier reading.
This is my first shawl design. Since I was just playing around, it ended up being a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.
Hook size and yarn sizes are really optional depending on how big you want it to be. I’ve made it in 4 sizes: Sport, fingering, DK & a worsted weight. Pick your yarn, pick your hook. Have fun!
Weight and yardage clarifications:
Sport weight I used all but about 10 - 15 yards of 2 full skeins. Each skein being 274 yards.
Fingering/sock yarn, I used 1 full 400 yard skein and maybe another 100 yards from the 2nd.
DK- I used 3.5 skeins. 252 yards per skein.
The worsted, I used 3.5 skeins also at 231 yards per skein.
A special thanks to ctarski for being kind enough to test this for me and for putting up with my newbieness. Her test shawl is beautiful!
