This is a vintage pattern that calls for a No.7 or No.8 bone crochet hook, which is to be about a 5mm hook in modern times.

Materials required:

Eight skeins of Shetland Wool, and seven skeins of Messrs W. H. Head & Sons Pompadour wool, or J & J Baldwin’s Beehive Ivorine Fingering.

You will alternate between Shetland Wool and the Pompadour Wool when instructed.
