A Mad Tea-Party
Remember the Mad Tea-party Alice is partizipating in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter
and the March Hare? One of the most memorable scenes in Literature for me. Imagine
various cups and teapots in many, fabulous colours spread over the table. Wonderful!
But how to keep your teapot warm? Or the coffee in your French press?
The solution: Cozies! Crazy, colourful cozies for both your teapot and your French
press, similar crazy as the imagined pots and cups of the Wonderland Tea-party.
These cozies are worked bottom-up, starting with an I-Cord-Cast-On and using a bulky
weight yarn. The background is worked solid in one colour and seed stitch, the nupps
change colours each round and the crown features all 3 used colours in garter stitch
stripes. The loop on top is intended for hanging up the cozies while not using them, like
a kitchen towel or a potholder. Grab your needles! Let’s make a trip to Wonderland!
This pattern contains instructions for both a teapot cozy and a French press cozy!
