A Man's Norwegian Pullover
by Meg Swansen
Meg Swansen describes this as a classic traditional Norwegian dropped shoulder design. The pullover is a simple unshaped tube for the body, with two shaped tubes for the sleeves. All three tubes are knit separately, the body is cut, and the finished sleeves sewn in. The neckline can be straight across or shaped (the shaping requires a steek.)
The choices, as Meg points out, are in the colors, patterns, “lice”, etc. etc. Making a swatch is essential, as my gauge varied from the gauge given on Meg’s pattern. I also used needle sizes 3 and 4, and redid the math for my gauge.
