A Midwinter's Night Cowl
by Dawn Barker
A Mid Winter’s Night Cowl is a two color dip-stitch square knit flat and then seamed and folded into a chic, easy to wear double bandana cowl. It features fine Merino wool paired with an ultra-soft brushed baby Suri alpaca and silk blend for maximum coziness and warmth.
It can be worn with either the right side or wrong side out.
Yarn
1 skein of Barker Wool Solo in Steadfast AND
1 skein of Barker Wool Zephyr in Serenade.
Needles US size 5 (3.75mm) or size needed to achieve gauge.
Gauge 24 STS x 32 rows = 4” x 4” in Stockinette ST using Solo after blocking.
Finished Measurements 26” Circumference X Approx. 17” height
measured after folding from the top of the cowl to the point.
