The A Mini New Leaf Beanie pattern is the cutest liitle sister or mister to our incredibly popular A New Leaf Beanie, perfect for those mummy and me sets!

Advanced beginner. There are written, picture and video tutorials to ensure success every step of the way.

Method ~
The beanie is knitted from the bottom up using two colours and the mosaic knitting method.

Size ~
The pattern is written for newborn, 0-6 months, 6-12 months, toddler and child.

Needles and Notions ~
Yarn in chosen weight
40cm/16” circular needles and DPNs in sizes given for each yarn weight;
Light Super Chunky: 6.5 mm/US 10.5/8 mm/US 11
Super Chunky: 8 mm/US 11/9 mm/US 13
Stitch marker
Darning needle
Scissors
Pom–pom and tag as desired

Gauge ~
Gauge is given in pattern and knitted in the round using the recommended needle size for each yarn weight. Measurements should be taken unstretched and unblocked.
Light Super Chunky ~ 14 sts and 18 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”. WPI - 7
Super Chunky ~ 10 sts and 16 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”. WPI - 6
