Inspired by the captivating watercolor shade of Emma’s Yarn, Make Dat Monet, this shawl exudes a sense of serene tranquility. The delicate hues of pastel greens, with very gentle washes of blues, yellows, and pink gracefully blend, mimicking the fluidity of Monet’s brushstrokes. Delicate water lilies bloom across the border of the shawl, capturing the essence of nature’s elegance.

Shawl is worked top down in a crescent shape with a stockinette body and 52 rows of lace. Lace is done on the right sides with only k or p on the wrong sides.

Tiny Tassels are optional.

Colorway: Make Dat Monet, 2 skeins 740-800 yards

Needles: US 5/3.75mm 32” Circular needles and one 7/4.5mm needle for bind off

Notions: Stitch Marker (suggested), T-pins and blocking wires for blocking

Gauge: 20 sts = 4 inches in stockinette after blocking. Although gauge is not crucial for this project, it will affect the finished size and yarn requirements. A looser gauge will result in the use of more yarn.
