The A New Leaf Cowl is written for Super Chunky/Bulky yarn with suggestions given for Aran/Worsted, Light Chunky, Chunky and Light Super Chunky. It is knitted in the round from the bottom up using the mosaic knitting technique, therefore only one colour is used per round. Options are given for using a ribbed edge or Latvian braid to match previous patterns. The pattern repeat is a multiple of three stitches over five rounds; size can be adjusted accordingly if desired. This will alter the amount of yarn required. A bonus pattern is included for a headband with ribbed edging.
