A Path Less Traveled Socks
by Kari-Elyssa
For those interested in knitting socks with a somewhat unconventional technique, this is the perfect pattern. Although not required, the socks can be knit with 7-8 DPNs at once in order to better control the fit. Inspired by autumn walks on obscure trails, these robust cabled ankle socks make the perfect cool weather knitting project.
You will need approximately 2 skeins of Malabrigo Silky Merino, or similar yarn. You will also need the following:
- Cable needle
- 1-2 sets of DPNs (double pointed needles)
- Tapestry needle
