A Quirky Christmas Elf - Amigurumi Doll
Get into the Christmas spirit with some delightful Amigurumi Elves! While Santa get’s all the credit (and a whole lot of mail year round) we all know it’s those hardworking Elves who keep the entire toy operation in business. Kudos to those Elves!
This pattern is worked from the bottom up with the legs and arms joined as you go, so there is very minimal sewing required…yay!
The pattern includes easy to follow instructions on how to make the elf, as well as the scarf and hat. Notes on how to create short and long hair are also included with useful resource links.
The best thing about this pattern is that you can give each doll their own personality. You can make a girl or boy elf, a funky pink haired elf, a shaggy haired elf, an elf with a mohawk perhaps? Make each one unique. And if you dare, make enough elves to fill the entire Santa’s factory!
Gauge – Gauge is not important for this pattern. You can adjust hook and yarn size as desired, but keep in mind the size of finished object will vary. Working with the DK/8ply yarn and 4mm hook my finished toy measures approximately 25 cm (9.8 inches) height and 26.5cm (10.5 inches) around the widest point.
