A Recipe for Cottony Goodness
each motif = 4” square and you will need approximately 900 g of worsted weight cotton
I have been (for quite some time) viewing my stash with an eye to using yarns I’ve had for a while not only in an effort to reduce “stuff” in a meaningful manner, but also to make a little room for exploring new-to-me yarns and fibers. Additionally, I love cotton and I had a lot of worsted weight cotton in my stash, some of it in bits and bobs. I gathered all of it up and looked at it with an eye for color, created a simple, yet pretty motif and this blanket came to life.
You can use this “recipe” for any worsted weight fiber. In fact, it’s adaptable to most any yarn weight, you’ll just need to rework the numbers to fit the weight of fiber you want to stash bust.
